We have a new Goldendoodle puppy. She is now 6 months old and we trimmed her the first time at home with shears. It took my husband and I 2 1/2 hours to trim her. We did a pretty good job, but I would prefer to trim her with clippers in the future. After reading your comments here and the below forum I have decided to get the Andis Powergroomer 63970. Our goldendoodle, has a beautiful thick coat, she feels very much like a velvety teddy bear. We are not interested in her looking like a show dog poodle, but just a simple cut. And in the hotter summer months something shorter. I am wondering if I am purchasing the best clipper and what number ceramic blades I should buy? Many thanks for any help!
