According to their website, Eagle Pack no longer uses corn in their dog food products. Apparently, this is a recent change in formula. Might want to check into it and revise the product reviews and ratings accordingly.
Although many dog owners have come up with positive reviews on Eagle Pack dog food products, there are also negative reviews which have been voiced out including poodles which are hypersensitive to beet pulp and allergic reactions which have been linked to corn. Many dog owners are also decrying the change in some Eagle Pack formulas which has been linked to problems in dogs with sensitive digestive systems.

There are some brands reviewed here and we will be coming out with a guide to help people find good hypoallergenic dog food shortly so come back and check from time to time. We should have it up in about two weeks, it will be free to download or copy. The first time I came across Eagle Pack dog food was not for this Eagle Pack dog food review. In fact I came across this dog food in a doggy day care that I was working at in 2010. The owner of the doggie day care swore by this food and so did all of the other employees. When I took a look at the bag myself, this is exactly what I found. Many of the that Eagle Pack sells meet AAFCO nutritional standards, some for all stages of life and others specifically for adults or puppies. I found this interesting, so I read some Eagle Pack puppy food reviews, and people were very satisfied with the early life stage growth that the food helped their dog achieve.Hi Everyone. I just want to say this brand of dog food seems to have the least amount of negative reviews and I have been using it for a year now. Previously I had my GSD on Taste of The Wild but it gave one of my two dogs diarrhea. I switched them ( i know how to switch foods the correct way) to Blue Buffalo last spring and they often had on and off loose stools but I attributed it to other snacks and treats. After feeding the puppy formula to a litter that spring, the ENTIRE liter had severe diarrhea. I kept bringing stool samples into the vet (always neg) and they suggested it was the food. They told me, some dogs, esp GSD, cannot handle some of the rich dog foods out there like Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild. Since switching to Eagle Pack no problems with loose stools and all is well! My dogs stools are always firm. At least I haven’t seen any reviews for Eagle Pack where their dog died from getting sick from the food. Some of the reviews for some of the high priced foods were darn scary! I hope I am doing the right thing by my dogs. They appear healthy. I’ve tried everything out there including making my own and raw but it was too time consuming an I work full time.
