Ivy (left) is a two-year-old Shih-Poo who lives in Omaha with Ryder, a six-year-old Miniature Schnauzer. The dog’s guardians arranged for this dog obedience training session to help Ivy stop getting over excited, excitedly urinating, feel better about the kennel and address her Separation Anxiety. They also asked me to help Ryder stop being so fearful of unexpected noises.
When we acquired our 2nd Siberian Husky we needed to kennel him to go out of town. Our other husky always has a place to stay but the 2nd one couldn't be trusted . Our vet recommended Kar Smis Kennel. I lived in IA at the time but Kar Sims is in Omaha, NE. It says something when your vet recommends a place in another state. From the the first time (7 years ago) to now our husky loves going there and the treatment is 2nd to none. Of course, he gets the condo with ceiling fan and room to roam. When I moved to Omaha, I go even luckier that Kar Sims is close to home. Earlier this year we put the first husky to sleep and the care they gave him at Kar Sims for creamation was touching. My point is they understand and love animals and treat them more than just an animal being bordered. They treat them like guests. I never have a doubt when I go out of town that my dog is treated well and enjoying himself.

In 1956 they opened up a pet shop in the Beverly Hills Plaza shopping center located at 76th and Dodge called "This N' That For Pets". My parents wanted to be closer to the shop so we moved to town. At that time, wewere the second pet shop in the Omaha area.Dogtopia of Omaha is a state-of-the-art boarding kennel designed for comfort and fun.
